AUTHENTIC AND REAL
I really appreciate the author sharing her journey authentically. She truly wants readers to break the cycle and live a healthy lifestyle. The book is conversational in nature. She writes like she would just be talking to you having a conversation which I find refreshing. Many books only cover the food aspect, but Karen goes into the emotional issue we have with food as well which I think is missing in many other books. So, I applaud the author for including the physical as well as the emotional aspects of healing so that weight loss comes naturally. It’s not a diet, it’s a lifestyle.

I love that right off the bat, this book makes it clear that happiness with our bodies cannot come from external validation. Breaking the cycle is a wildly important topic and I like how the author is straight forward, with content that is easy to follow. USEFUL FOR BEGINNERS
What I like about this book is its simplicity. There are other books out there that go into great detail about plant-based diets, that can leave you scratching your head trying to figure out what the author is really saying. I like the way that she brings thoughts of other plant-based experts together in one place, and simplifies them. This is a great place to start.

FANTASTIC BOOK!
I absolutely love this book! I too have had struggles with the rollercoaster of dieting. Even with lifestyle changes, I had trouble maintaining the weight. What I love about Karen's book is that she shares her story and real examples of HOW to change my bad habits. She is real and has gone through the same difficulties we all have! She is helping others with her insightful information. The love she has for helping others leaps off the pages. I seriously read the book in 1 sitting and will read again. This book is a must buy and a great resource for anyone wanting to get their healthy body back.

After having dieted for over 30 years losing and gaining back what I'd lost and more I was hoping that this book would have some answers for me. Really enjoyed reading the book which has been written in an easy-to-follow manner. It explains how to achieve sustainable weight loss and maintain it easily through eating high nutrient, low calorie foods, ultimately giving your body the best nutrition nature intended.
